Using an electricity pylon struck with steel bars and glass vessels filled with canal water, recordings of acoustic experiments were combined with the humming of wind through the high-voltage cables far above.

The resonating tones and percussive rumbles were digitally augmented using mathematical ratios extrapolated directly from the structural rhythms within the pylon's design, the ratio of voltage to current used by the national grid, and the outer electron shell energy distributuions in water molecules. The resulting audio track accompanies slowly shifting images of the pylon reflected in the canal water, taken daily over a period of weeks.
